SUMMARY: 

This presentation, by an experienced employment law attorney, will outline the process, step by step, of the litigation of employment cases.  The presentation will include practical advice of steps HR professionals can be taking now to make the litigation process more likely to be successful in the event of a lawsuit.

PRESENTER: Diane Sorensen, Attorney - Morris Laing Evans Brock & Kennedy, Chtd.

Ms. Sorensen is a shareholder at Morris, Laing in Wichita, where she has been practicing employment law for nearly 30 years.  She is a frequent presenter on a broad range of employment law topics for both HR professionals and other attorneys.  She has also written numerous articles on employment law for professional journals and the Wichita Business Journal.  Ms. Sorensen also frequently acts as a mediator in employment cases.
