Assists with the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and performs the functions that contribute to a positive experience for HR customers. Provides administrative support for the department, hiring process, contract employees, volunteers, badging, orientation, and electronic file maintenance to enhance the efficiency of the department. Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Requires advanced knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs. High level customer service skills and ability to deal with all types of situations and problems in a calm and professional manner. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Strongly prefer bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business. Must have 1-3 years’ experience as Human Resources Assistant or an Associate degree. Prefer HRIS experience and PHR or SHRM-CP.
